The purpose of the Council of Catholic Women is to unite women of the parish through spiritual and social activities and to assist the pastor in meeting the material needs of the parish and the rectory. Its responsibilities include providing items for the church and rectory as well as organizing and overseeing funeral luncheons. Parishioners are contacted on a rotating basis to provide salads and cakes for funeral luncheons. Volunteers help serve at funeral dinners. Meetings are held from September through May on the 3rd Thursday of the month. All women of the parish are members of this organization
